Design Center

Once the sales agreement and mortgage approval has been completed, the next step in your homebuilding experience will be the Design Center. There is a mandatory, one-on-one appointment with a Design Coordinator to discuss and select all the options available to change in your new Armadillo Home. This appointment will allow you to customize your new home through a structured selection process at our beautiful, state of the art Design Center.

Armadillo Homes has been building dreams for families for over 30 years. We have learned through experience that processes and procedures help eliminate mistakes and significantly improve the quality and value we are able to give back to our homebuyers. Due to these processes and procedures, we are not able to issue any changes after all the selections have been agreed upon at the Design appointment.

Design Appointment

Armadillo Homes believes that we should offer as many options and colors during a design appointment as economically feasible. Please read and understand the following guidelines which will allow for a smoother and easier Design Center process.

1. While shopping and touring the model homes, take notes and read the signs that notate all items in the home that are builders features - "standard" or options - "upgrades".

2. All structural options will be done with the sales representative at the time the purchased agreement is finalized such as: covered patio, bay windows, box windows, and more. Please take the time to choose these selections wisely, they will not be allowed to be altered.s

3. Once the mortgage company has given us a completed loan approval, we can schedule the Design Center appointment. This will allow your Design Coordinator to help better assist you with your selections and budget options if necessary.

4. The Design Center hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any weekend appointments. We apologize for any inconvience this may cause.

5. Design Deposit Policy- there is a Design Deposit Policy handout that is signed at the time of contract and will also be reviewed at the Design Appointment.

6. Due to our processes and procedures, please advice once all of the Design selections are agreed upon and all paperwork has been signed and processed, unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any more changes.
