OUR HISTORY
Armadillo Homes has deep roots in helping hard-working individuals give their families a better life through home ownership.
The company realized that home ownership creates a concretea foundation, both literally and figuratively. With our leadership and strong commitment to community of company leader Robert Gutierrez, the vision of home ownership has become a reality for over 7,000 families.
While Armadillo Homes has expanded beyond our original location of Laredo into other areas of the state, including the Austin and San Antonio areas, we still remain a Texas-based, family owned company committed to keeping our original vision of helping families who once thought it was not possible to achieve home ownership.
Along the way, Armadillo Homes has continued to be recognized for our efforts, with such honors as Builder Magazine Ts America Ts Best Builder title, Professional Builder Ts Professional Achievement Award for Affordable Housing, and the Lee Evans Award for Excellence in Business Management from the National Association of Home Builders.
Employing quality people, some of whom have been with the company since the first foundations were poured, and remaining dedicated to our original values has made Armadillo Homes a company that stands apart from the others, in the past, present, and future.
